The Boy Scouts of America, Greater New York Councils’ Merit Badge Pro Series offers Scout BSA members—youth between grades 6 and 12—the unique opportunity to take their Merit Badge work outside the traditional Troop meeting and into the real world. There are over 135 Merit Badges available, and this program allows Scouts to learn about the topics that interest them most from professionals out in the field.

Events typically last 2-3 hours and are facilitated by a Boy Scouts of America approved Merit Badge Counselors. Sometimes, there is required pre-work that must completed prior to the event and Scouts are required to bring their own Merit Badge Blue Card.

Join us! Check for events on the council activities calendar titled “Merit Badge Pro Series”.
