Aaron began his Scouting career in May 2009 as a Program Coordinator in the Membership Impact Department for the National Council, where he provided support in efforts to increase youth membership in the multi-cultural market by providing professional training and best practices. In April 2014, Aaron was promoted as Training Associate in the Scouting University Department, where he provided support and coordinated the logistics for the District Operations 2 and Advanced District Administration courses, along with producing Virtual Instructor-Led Training for executive throughout the nation. In May 2016, Aaron was promoted as a Member Data Solutions Team Lead of the Council Services Department. In this role, Aaron expanded the number of councils using the Registration Shared Services and guided Councils through the onboarding, development, and implementation of service. Also, in his role, Aaron served as the workflow manager for Registration Shared Services and managed member data processing staff, and ensured the quality and timely delivery of membership services.
The National Council of the Boy Scouts of America discontinued Registration Shared Services, which supported over fifty councils with membership data processing. The Greater New York Councils has created a division called Shared Registration Services that will use cutting edge technology and staff to process membership data for partner councils from across the country, the Transatlantic Council in Europe, and for the Greater New York Councils.
